Because of the popularity of Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Blue Spire and P.

atriplicifolia 'Little Spire' I thought that it would be good to raise a pink or white flowered cultivar. After all, most plants that have blue flowers also have pink and white ones as well.

With this in mind, over the years I have raised many hundreds of seedlings. P. Lacey Blue 'Lisslitt' was found in the second batch of seedlings and stood alone because of it's dwarf habit and the large flower head, and if that wasn't enough, the flower is a good rich blue.

As with all Perovskias, when it rains, the stems bend over with the weight of the water, but unlike others, when the flowers dry the stems pull themselves up again.
