Glow Sticks Festuca was the top vote getter for the National Garden Bureau’s Green Thumb People’s Choice Award for best perennial. Over 10,000 gardeners voted on the People’s Choice Green Thumb Awards. Voters were asked to consider four criteria: uniqueness, technological innovation, ability to solve a gardening problem or provide a gardening opportunity, and appeal to gardeners.
